On arriving at these types of losses, the primary concern is always the health and safety of all people in the area, which includes, residents, police and fire and emergency response workers. Our staff will assess what chemicals have been released, what hazards exist and then what appropriate actions are required. Once safe procedures have been established, we can proceed to stop, contain, and initiate steps to mitigate any impact to the environment.
Personal protective equipment appropriate to the hazard is worn by all workers involved in the clean up. If removal of the product, soil and/or contaminated water is necessary, it is disposed of at a licensed facility in compliance with all applicable regulations.
We decontaminate all areas after cleanup and monitor and sample the site as necessary.
ESRS manages remediation from incident assessment to remediation, providing formal reports outlining results to reduce future liability.
